Counselling (s37)
Vocational Counselling is brief, focused,
counselling assistance aimed at assisting employees to achieve
specific work goals. It may include adjustment to disability
counselling, trauma counselling, or development of new or
different vocational goals.
Why refer?

To identify
and address psychological, interpersonal or organisational
barriers to achieving vocational goals.

To prepare an employee for commencing a return to work
program

To develop
employee skills in managing new directions in their
rehabilitation program.
