Angela is a Director and co-founder of Axis Injury Management. She is
responsible for the delivery of Professional Services to our clients
and customers. She is a registered Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor
and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Angela
specialises in the management of psychological injury.
Belinda Foote
Belinda has over 15 years experience in the provision of employment
services. She has worked with both private and community-based organisations
to deliver employment assistance to clients in the Newcastle, Hunter
and Central Coast areas. Belinda has an unparalleled understanding of
local labour market issues facing job seekers.
Danielle Stenson
B. App. Sc. (OT)
Danielle has extensive clinical experience in occupational therapy within
hospital-based rehabilitation settings both in Australia and internationally.
She has a particular interest in evidence-based research in driving
treatment interventions. Danielle is a qualified WorkHab Functional
Capacity Assessor.
Jo Lockhart
B. App. Sc. (Physio), PG.Dip.Hlth.Sc. (Rehab)
Jo is a Physiotherapist with over 15 years occupational rehabilitation
experience in a diverse range of industries including mining and education.
She is an accredited WorkHab Functional Capacity Assessor and WorkCover
RTW Coordinator trainer. Jo has an active interest in programs designed
to optimise employee health and well-being.
Julie Thompson
B. Health Sc. (OT)
Julie is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience with occupational
rehabilitation service provision. She is accredited with WorkHab to
conduct Functional Capacity Assessments and is currently completing
a Master of Business Administration. Julie has a strong interest in
medico-legal assessment as well as strategic case management of files
to ensure provider involvement is effective and efficient. Julie
is accredited with WorkCover as a RTW Coordinator trainer.
Karen Nicol

Karen is an Occupational Therapist with over 17 years experience
in Occupational Rehabilitation in a diverse range of industries.
Karen has worked as an Injury Management Advisor/Team Leader
with a National Self Insurer, is a qualified WorkHab Functional
Capacity Assessor, WorkCover RTW
Coordinator trainer and has received accreditation for Comcare and CTP.
Martine Hammond
BA (Psych), PGrad Dip Comm. Couns,
PGrad Dip Arts (Soc), MASRC
Over the last 15 years Martine has provided exemplary claims and
injury management advice to a range of industry groups within
various legislations including Workers Compensation, Compulsory
Third Party insurance schemes (QLD; NSW and ACT WorkCover),
Military Compensation & Rehabilitation Service, and Comcare. She
majored in Psychology and Sociology and has Post-Rehabilitation
Qualifications in Community Counselling & Sociology of Health /
Bioethics.
Mike Hammill
Mike is a registered Psychologist and member of the Australian
Psychological Society, and is active in the local Branch of the Society.
He has over thirty years experience with vocational assessment and counselling.
He has also had extensive experience in the cognitive-behavioural treatment
o f anxiety, depression, trauma and pain. Mike has presented seminars
on the management of psychological injury to Comcare.
Nicole Hooper

Nicole is an Occupational Therapist with over 11 years experience in
occupational rehabilitation and workers compensation claims management.
She has worked as an Injury Services Advisor with a national self-insurer
and is a skilled trainer in manual handling. Nicole is a qualified WorkHab
Functional Capacity Assessor, a trained Workcover RTW coordinator
and has received accreditation for comcare and CTP.
Richard Clark
B. Hlth Sc. (OT)
Richard is an Occupational Therapist with over 15 years
experience in occupational rehabilitation. He has extensive experience
in heavy industrial settings and his postgraduate professional
development has focused mainly on the assessment and management of
musculoskeletal injuries. Richard is accredited to conduct WorkHab
Functional Assessments and provides tutorial services in musculoskeletal
anatomy at the University of Newcastle.
Scot Weeks
B.A. Hons., G. Dip Health Soc. Sc., Managing Director
Scot founded Axis Injury Management with Angela Hassab and is responsible
for the day to day operations of the company. He is a registered Psychologist
and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Suzanne Osei
Suzanne is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive
experience in occupational rehabilitation service provision. She
is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and
College of Clinical Psychologists. Suzanne is also accredited in
Comcare service provision. Suzanne's research interests have
focused on Stress in the NSW Police Service and her Clinical
Masters thesis was on the treatment of PTSD following Motor
Vehicle Accidents.

services both within a Provider setting and within a
self-insurer (heavy industry).

Trudi Henry

Accredited provider of rehabilitation services since 1999 under
WorkCover NSW and Comcare Accredited Return to Work Coordinator
and provider of NSW WorkCover Return to Work Coordinator
training in NSW, thorough knowledge of NSW WorkCover and CTP
legislation. Skilled in-house and provider-based workplace
injury and rehabilitation manager.
